Nightmare Nevada is a Special Effects and prop fabrication Shop based out of Las Vegas, NV. We have over 20 years of experience in special effects and fabrication. We are accomplished sculptors, mold makers, designers, and shop technicians. We provide on set work such as : SPFX makeup, blood effects, creature suits, and fake weapon gags. We also provide large scale scenic foam props and sculptures for film and the events industry. We are a shop full of talented, imaginative, and creative creatures. We work with projects in all stages of development. We have a passion for storytelling and would be thrilled to help bring your story to life.
Special Effects Artist / Fabricator / Owner
Junior Rubio is originally from North Hollywood, CA. Growing up so close to many of the shops that created so many of his favorite childhood films. His love for film and practical special effects began at a very young age. He moved to Las Vegas while in his senior year of High School. Where he never forgot or compromised his dream of becoming a Special Effects Artist for the film industry. He eventually had a chance to create Nightmare Nevada FX & Creature Shop. Junior is an accomplished sculptor, fabricator, foam carver, mold maker, and well-rounded special effects artist. Able to create anything needed to bring any story to life.
